We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will travel to customer locations to commission on-site equipment, provide training, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure top-notch service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally for training and commissioning of new equipment (Passport required).
  • Deliver quality workmanship and ensure a professional, courteous customer experience.
  • Provide technical support for existing customers dealing with machine issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, mechanical, and electrical component issues.
  • Maintain detailed event logs and reports in Salesforce.
  • Create documentation for internal training and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with factory personnel to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support the sales team with system application insights.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and component failures in production settings.
  • Prioritize safety by completing job safety analyses and attending safety meetings.
  • Timely completion of travel and expense reports.
  • Responsible for company tools and credit card management.
  • Assist the technical support team by responding to customer service inquiries.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in electronics technology or related field, or equivalent work experience (3 years).
  • Preferred experience in industrial equipment manufacturing.
  • Recommended proficiency in 3D Solid Modeling / CAD.
  • Prior experience with CNC machines is a plus.
  • Strong ability to read electrical schematics and use Volt/Amp meters.
  • Experience troubleshooting both 3-phase and single-phase equipment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort in using various industrial tools and equipment.
  • Customer support experience is essential.
  • Ability to work independently within a self-directed environment.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics is beneficial.
  • Computer literacy is required.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, climb, reach, and stand for extended periods, as well as perform manual tasks.

Work Environment:
Noisy industrial setting with varying temperatures and potential exposure to grease, oil, and residue typical of this environment.
