This position is responsible for providing pharmacist supervision and, under the direction of pharmacy leadership, provides operational oversight for the inpatient pharmacy at Renown Regional Medical Center. Nature and Scope: This position is challenged to provide pharmaceutical care to each of its customers in drug information and drug therapy monitoring within the anticoagulation service. The active pharmacist/clinical pharmacist staff will report to this position. This position is responsible for the daily staff management of their direct reports, including hiring, onboarding, coaching and evaluation. This person is also responsible for ensuring adequate staffing (including scheduling), This position is challenged to assist in the training of pharmacists, residents, nurse practitioners, pharmacy interns, and students as well as the supervision of same, adherence to policy and procedure, and coordination of workload.
