As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll handle a variety of production tasks, including loading materials, operating machines, inspecting parts, and keeping the work area organized and running smoothly. You will work with experienced leads, learn how we run our machining operations, and help refine the way we do things as the department grows.

What you'll do

• Operate advanced 5-axis CNC machines (Matsuura MAM72v, Haas UMC-750) and robotic loading systems
• Stage, load, and accurately secure raw material into machine vises and fixtures
• Assemble, set (length/diameter), and load tools into machine holders
• Monitor tool condition through visual inspection, auditory cues, and part quality
• Conduct routine quality inspections using basic inspection equipment (pins, calipers, micrometers)
• Assist with material handling, machine loading/unloading, and shipment preparation
• Perform daily production duties as directed by leadership, adapting to operational needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Operate forklifts to transport and store materials as needed

Requirements

• Experience with CNC machining fundamentals and willingness to learn and grow
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and measurement instruments
• Familiarity with FANUC-based milling G/M code is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours per shift
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
