Description:

We are seeking an Events & Partners Manager to join our team! This position is to coordinate all events from conception, to sponsor cultivation, venue planning, guest invitation, promotional dissemination, volunteer/staffing, set up, execution, clean up and follow up.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize meetings with stakeholders and partners for initial event planning
  • Strategically plan events and negotiate terms of agreement with vendors
  • Cultivate sponsors on a multi-tiered platform
  • Development, production, and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet expectations
  • Setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support to your team
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Secure staffing, volunteers, and event security
  • Coordinate promotional materials for web and print

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning or other related fields
  • Strong project managing skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well in teams
