Arbin Support Engineer (Reno)

Position Description

Provide onsite and remote service for Arbin customers.

This is a work at home position, more than 50% of time in Travel is required.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Perform onsite service to Arbin customers, including but not limited to: System calibration, troubleshooting, customer training.

Provide training and Instruction to customer for operate our system.

Perform remote analysis and troubleshooting for Arbin customers.

Answer phone call from Customer, summarize customer’s problem.

Write and organize technical documents and introduction documents.

Collect customer feedback and open issues, feedback them to R&D team.

Primary Objectives

Fulfill customers’ need related to our product and create great relationships with our customers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Ability to read electrical diagram.
  2. Ability to read and write technical documents.
  3. Basic skill of Microsoft office.
  4. Good self-learning ability.
  5. Good communication skills.
  6. Travel required: >50%.
  7. Able to take coast to coast flight.
  8. Have a valid driver license and able to drive alone.
  9. US citizenship required.
  10. Knowledge of Electric grid system or Power electronics is preferred.
  11. Knowledge of network setting, debugging is preferred.
  12. Occasionally work overtime on Saturday or Sunday is preferred.
  13. Must live in the Reno, NV area

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

Having customer support experience of more than 1 year is preferred.
