Experience: Mid Level **Trece Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Busser candidate who is passionate about creating renowned customer experience within our restaurant.**

Trece is located inside the Planet 13 Entertainment Complex. We are looking for a professional, high-energy Bartender with excellent communication skills serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers.

**$2500 sign on bonus if you successfully complete 6 months of employment. Must be in good standing. Must have open availability**

**Summary**

The Bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Greet all guests with a smile and a friendly greeting.

* Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.

* Perform side work duties as directed by the manager.

* Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.

* Clean counters in the bar area, maintaining cleanliness of the facility.

* Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.

* Responsible for knowing the menu to include the ingredients and preparation of specific menu items.

* Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.

* Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.

* Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

**Education and/or Experience**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 1 year bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Language Skills**

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

**Mathematical Skills**

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**

Must be able to legally serve alcohol. (Must obtain Alcohol Awareness Card prior to hire.). Must have a current & valid Food Handler's card issued by the Southern Nevada Health District. Must be 21 years of age or older.

* Receives cash, verifies amount from budtenders.

* Reconcile total cash in the vault.

* To ensure that the cash ready for deposits are accounted for and processed correctly in accordance with company policy

* Manages cash drawer process, prepare banks bags.

* Perform till sweeps and provide change for the budtenders consistently throughout the day.

* Preparation of daily paperwork as per company policy

* Maintain accurate cash handling correctly in accordance with company policy

* Interact with coworkers in a pleasant and professional manner.

* Maintain safe working conditions and clean work area.
