**Warehouse Associate**

Warehouse-Facilities Reno, Nevada Minimum Experience **Entry-level** General Purpose of the Position:

The function of this position is to have responsibility over: Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, Project Materials, Facilities. Supporting the onsite shopas required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (*Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs).*

* Receive and inspect inbound shipments including offloading trucks with forklift. Ensure accuracy of shipment and entry into our inventory system.

* Handle inbound shipments and maintain organized and accurate inventory shelves.

* Pull materials for project staging in preparation for production.

* Pull additional materials for projects are required throughout the life of a project.

* Prepare outbound shipments. Palletize or box product securely and process shipments in our system.

* Perform miscellaneous errands for the shop including local pickups and deliveries. Company vehicle driving a must.

* Monitor inventory levels of frequently used materials & prepare replenishment report.

* Perform annual or cyclical inventory counts as required by business needs.

* Assist panel shop personnel by performing basic tasks as required.

* Maintain a clean and organized shipping receiving, inventory & shop area.

* Facilities repairs & maintenance as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Decision-Making Authority:

Rely on experience and training to make minor decisions regularly. Refer to Supervisor for direction on decisions of significant impact.

Physical Abilities:

* Ability to stand and or sit at a table most of the day.

* Ability to maneuver through office and shop area.

* Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.

* Ability to climb ladder to shelf heights to retrieve or store product.

* Ability to use hand tools including electric jigsaw, reciprocating saw, drills, band saw and others.

Education and Experience Required:

* Experience working in a team environment where regular communication with colleagues is required.

* Proven experience with detailed inventory control, shipping and receiving.

* Good verbal and written communication skills.

Additional skills desired (not required)

* Forklift certification
