Job Title: Warehouse Associate FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly Reports To: Distribution Center Manager Supervises: None Job Code: 3749General Description: Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fill orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and other.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Load and unload products from the trucks Review products for damage before shipments Sort and place materials and items according to organizational standards Operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks Receive and process materials Label products and store them in an organized manner Communicate efficiently with supervisors and teammates Comply with regulations and procedures to align with quality service standards Ensure your work environment is clean, tidy and safe for you and others around youQualifications: 1-2 years of previous general labor/warehouse experience Team player Good organizational and time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Problem solverEducational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalentWork Days: Normal workdays are Monday through Friday. Potential physical exposures in the stores are machinery, noise, vibration, fumes, odor, dust, atmosphere, outdoor weather and temperature. Chemicals include solvents, cleaning products, soap and nuisance dust. Protective equipment provided includes safety glasses and ear protection.
