Position Overview:

Sierra Glass is seeking a skilled Insulated Glass Operator to join our team. As an Insulated Glass Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling insulated glass units (IGUs) according to company standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Glass Cutting and Preparation: Measure, cut, and prepare glass components for insulated glass units.
• Sealing and Assembly: Assemble insulated glass units by applying spacers, sealants, and desiccants according to established procedures.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Machine Operation: Operate machinery such as glass cutting and sealing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels of glass and related materials required for production.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in glass fabrication, specifically with insulated glass units, is preferred.
• Knowledge of glass cutting, sealing, and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
