Ichor is hiring a DevOps Engineer in our Sparks, NV site to report into our R&D Engineering organization.

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure customer facing WEB API's used to distribute application updates and manage licensing.
• Setup and manage engineering tools and required infrastructure.
• Setup and manage automated build systems.
• Identifying and implementing cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessments of customer facing web API's.

Desired knowledge, skills and abilities

• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure.
• Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl and Java.
• Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL and Mongo
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of GIT and various tools, open source technologies and cloud services.
• Experience implementing and managing secure web API's.

Qualifications

Desired Education, certifications and experience

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience developing / deploying secure web API infrastructure.
