Job Details

We're seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the coordination and execution of building projects from conception to completion. With your keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills, you'll ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Your strong leadership abilities and effective communication will drive project success while fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high performing team to plan, execute and turn over Mechanical systems; Develop execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved
• Quickly respond to queries and drive timely technical resolutions
• Maintain project schedules to ensure work aligns with fast-paced timelines, employing proactive project layout and planning to set the team up for success
• Supervise and direct construction crews and personnel onsite, assigning tasks and communicating responsibilities clearly. Ensure adherence to safety, HR, and company policies consistently
• Manage employee timecards accurately, oversee time off requests including vacation and sick leave, and ensure compliance with all HR policies, addressing any issues as necessary
• Uphold a structured and balanced work environment within the team by using strategies such as goal setting, coaching, performance assessments, training, roster management, and disciplinary action when necessary. Ensure fairness and equality in workload distribution
• Promote and uphold a culture of safety to ensure the well-being of all workers, both Tesla and non-Tesla, with the goal of ensuring everyone returns home safely each day

Requirements

• Experience managing Mechanical work
• Experience in leadership, management and people development
• Knowledge of the ASTM / ASME
• Ability to develop a schedule and track performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Computer literacy with Navisworks, Bluebeam and PlanGrid
• Bachelor's Degree, related 10+ years field experience
