Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator

Location: Reno , NV 89506

Duration: 6 months

Pay Range: $20/hr. on w2

Job Description:

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for the efficient movement, loading, storage, inventory management, labeling, and billing of finished products. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, procedures, and third-party requirements. The position involves using computer applications, performing physical labor, and operating powered warehousing equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, straddle carriers, counter-balance lifts, drum dumpers, transporters) to meet customer demands with high-quality productsdelivered on time, in full, and error-free.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Shipping:

  • Unload and receive incoming trucks (lock/unlock trailers).
  • Load outgoing shipments (Univar, pallets, export orders, empty drums, etc.), ensuring proper blocking & bracing per regulations.

Inventory Management:

  • Verify and record material receipts in SAP.
  • Perform bin-to-bin transfers in SAP.
  • Retrieve and stage materials for loaders.
  • Re-palletize materials received on non-standard pallets.

Equipment & Facility Operations:

  • Operate the MFG/RMW elevator.
  • Manage battery charging and refilling for Powered Material Handling Equipment (PMHE).
  • Retrieve bags from the bag compactor.
  • Change dust kits (non-restricted dust system).

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Utilize the SDS system TIPS for product identification.
  • Process intercompany sample requests for raw and semi-finished materials.
  • Maintain shipper certifications (DOT/IATA training).
  • Ensure proper labeling of samples/cartons per DOT/IATA regulations.
  • Assist with dump-back processes (excluding cap removal or material dumping).

- General Duties:

  • Coordinate shipments with planning/finished product warehouse teams.
  • Maintain area supplies (cartons, labels, tape, etc.).

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word/Excel).
  • SAP experience is a plus.
