For nearly six decades, we have provided essential engineering services throughout the United States, including Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing & Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental Compliance and Permitting, and Building Envelope Consulting.

We are looking for an experienced Due Diligence and Remediation Department Manager to lead a dynamic team responsible for conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II ESAs, and managing the remediation of contaminants within soil and groundwater, encompassing petroleum, chlorinated solvents, metals, and other hazardous substances.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage team of environmental professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement plans and procedures for environmental compliance.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve environmental issues.
  • Perform due diligence and remediation for potential environmental issues.
  • Negotiate with regulatory agencies and local authorities regarding environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage projects.
  • Create reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor staff.
  • Stay up to date on environmental regulations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
  • Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in environmental due diligence / remediation.
  • Strong technical background in regulatory compliance, remediation, ESA (environmental site assessments Phase I, and Phase II.
  • Waterboard experience is highly desired.

Experience with lead / asbestos is preferred.

Compensation : $140-185k base DOE
