Position Summary

The Automation and Delivery Engineer will play an instrumental role in advancing automation infrastructure. You will work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to architect, implement, and maintain automation, build, and test tooling for packages, operating systems, and high-performance computing platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise in Linux, automation, scripting, software development, and systems engineering, along with a passion for learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on automation and build tooling
• Participate in architecture discussions, planning, and implementation
• Conduct research to ensure optimal solutions
• Document projects for knowledge sharing and cross-training
• Develop proofs of concept and MVPs for demonstrations
• Design and implement test automation for software and OS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product deliverables
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance and reduce costs

Required Skills

• Expertise in automation, tooling, build systems, Linux, containers, VMs, and high-quality product delivery
• Familiarity with Cloud and Cloud-Native principles
• Ability to work with teams on cloud marketplace integrations
• Troubleshooting and process improvement skills
• Manage compute environments, virtualization, and containerization
• Collaborative, humble, honest attitude
• Passion for scripting and automation
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn

Education and Experience

• BSc/BA in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• One cloud certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Hands-on experience with cloud solutions, infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, or virtualization
