Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Research Scientist in the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources. The Zandawala Lab has several ongoing projects revolving around neuropeptide evolution, function and neural circuit tracing. The successful applicant will work as part of a team on these projects but will primarily develop their own project depending on their interest and future goals. There are no restrictions on topic or direction as long as it focuses around neuromodulation.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D by the time of appointment in Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, Molecular Genetics or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Drosophila (or other arthropods) and/or programming skills is a plus but not required.
