POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Finance & Administration to lead and scale the company's financial and administrative infrastructure during a pivotal period of growth. This executive will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and leadership team, ensuring financial integrity, operational excellence, and long-term organizational success.
In this hands-on, high-impact role, you'll oversee finance, accounting, HR/payroll, IT vendor management, and administrative operations—building the systems, teams, and insights needed to support sustainable expansion and long-term value creation. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at translating strategy into results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a strategic advisor on financial and organizational initiatives.
- Prepare and submit monthly lender compliance packages (e.g., financial statements, borrowing base reports).
- Manage and assist in the financial reporting, monthly close, and account reconciliation process.
- Responsible for cost accounting and sales/margin reporting.
- Develop key performance indicators critical to the overall business.
- Provide financial analysis to improve decision-making.
- Support the creation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Manage treasury, credit, and collections (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P).
- Manage daily operations with the lender: initiate wires, ACH payments, reconcile bank statements, etc.
- Lead audit/tax initiatives, including annual financial audits, tax returns, workers' compensation, and insurance renewals.
- Assist in the selection and implementation of a new ERP system.
- Develop internal controls and procedures to increase the accuracy and productivity of the department.
Human Resources & Payroll Oversight
- Provide executive oversight of HR and payroll functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Guide talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and labor law compliance.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and workforce planning strategies to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture.
- Oversee relationships with IT vendors and other key service providers supporting administrative, benefits, and technical systems.
- Ensure that the technology infrastructure supports scalability, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance and administration, ideally in a private equity-backed or growth-stage company.
- Expertise in GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and audit/tax processes.
- Proven success managing HR/payroll operations and driving organizational culture.
- Strong understanding of treasury, banking, lender relations, and ERP/HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change and scale operations in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and team leadership skills.
