POSITION - SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER - HYBRID
LOCATION - HOUSTON, TX
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. We are looking to grow our team of skilled multi-discipline engineers and engineering consultants throughout North America. This is a key location based position.

Role description:
As the Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will successfully manage, lead, and expand a practice as a seller/doer to execute design tasks and deliver construction documents for civil infrastructure/site development, focusing on public and private client market sectors.
This role is to be based out of our Houston office and requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the office, and the remainder of the week is working from home.

Role accountabilities:
- Develop and grow a regional practice supported by a local/regional/national client base, ideally being an engaged, well-known, respected member of the local market with an existing client network.
- Build and lead a team, identifying leadership to execute civil infrastructure and site development projects for residential, institutional, and commercial sectors.
- Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, mentor team members, and foster a positive leadership environment.
- Collaborate with clients, design teams, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals.
- Oversee community and stakeholder communications for high-profile projects and participate as needed.
- Present executive reports to stakeholders and approve new projects within specific programs.
- Assist with business development, client management, and staff development to grow the regional civil practice.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer
- 15+ years of experience in civil/site development infrastructure projects
- Proven experience managing and delivering civil infrastructure projects successfully
