The Building Automation Project Manager job is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of building automation projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations. The ideal candidate possesses technical expertise in building automation systems (BAS), strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in project execution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for building automation systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance during the design, installation, and commissioning phases to ensure system functionality and compliance with specifications.
• Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to achieve project milestones.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Budget Management: Track project expenses, manage change orders, and ensure projects remain within budget.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, reports, and closeout packages, for internal records and client reference.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project performance and incorporate lessons learned into future projects to improve processes and outcomes.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on trends in building automation technologies and industry best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing building automation or similar technical projects.
• Strong understanding of building automation systems, including HVAC controls, lighting, energy management, and IoT integrations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
