D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Division HR Coordinator. The right candidate will handle all aspects of Human Resources, including assisting with guiding employees through the onboarding process and other administrative functions, as well as serve as a liaison between corporate and the division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  1. Ensure all HR regulations are followed
  2. Conduct new hire processing and coordinate new employee setup with Corporate IT
  3. Assist managers to make them aware of company policies relating to management responsibilities
  4. Conduct new hire orientation in person and virtually via Microsoft Teams
  5. Assist with division payroll, including reviewing, correcting, and obtaining approval of employee timesheets
  6. Process salary increases, bonuses, commissions, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  7. Administer worker's compensation process for the division
  8. Assist in training staff
  9. Be available to answer employee questions concerning benefits and HR policies
  10. Maintain division organizational chart
  11. Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  12. Ability to work overtime
  13. Ability to travel overnight

Education and/or Experience

  1. Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  2. One to three years related experience and/or training
  3. Ability to handle confidential information
  4. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or via DRH applications
  5. Proficiency with MS Office and email
  6. Ability to sit for the majority of an 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and peripheral vision
  7. The noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Taleo, PeopleSoft, and Microsoft Teams experience preferred
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  3. Ability to multi-task and provide attention to detail
