Your Next Opportunity

The Assistant Project Manager is an entry-level role designed to develop competency in project management and provide administrative support to our team.

What You'll Do

  • Manage project documentation such as submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
  • Support project activities, including planning, coordination, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain logs for change orders, submittals, and drawings; prepare documentation for meetings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate contract submittals and create subcontractor contracts.
  • Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Follow the project quality control plan.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for documentation and manuals.
  • Keep warranty logs current.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and subcontractors, providing project support.
  • Assist field personnel and monitor contractor activities.
  • Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files.
  • Prepare change orders and project reports.
  • Collaborate with payroll for accurate processing.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

  • Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, and methods.
  • Professional demeanor and effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle.
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and work under pressure.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Self-motivated team player with professional interaction skills.

What You Bring to Us

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • At least 1 year of construction-related experience or equivalent training/education.

Travel

Up to 25%

Working Conditions

  • Primarily on active construction sites with varying environmental conditions.
  • Indoor work with fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
