This position transports patients and equipment to support patient care and throughput within Renown Health. Nature and Scope This position is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of patient movement and/or item delivery throughout Renown Health, in accordance with established procedures. This position coordinates with nursing and other ancillary teams to deliver high quality patient care during transit to and from nursing units, radiology/non-radiology procedural areas, and pre/post-operative areas. The position demonstrates the ability to work with Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patient s needs specific to the population being served, and meets standards of quality as measured by the Department age specific competency standard. The collaboration with fellow team members and ancillary teams provides a safe, caring, respectful and comfortable experience for all.
