Job Details

This position is accountable for ensuring that appropriate collection of specimens and timely specimen handling / delivery are provided in an efficient and cost effective manner in accordance with laboratory and hospital policies and procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring that all procedures being performed in areas of responsibility will comply with all regulatory, accrediting, and licensure requirements. Scheduling of hours may be changed, as company deems necessary. Cover on-call hours as requested. Nature and Scope The Clinical Laboratory is a 24-hour/7-days a week operation, providing laboratory services to an inpatient and outpatient population of all ages.
