Senior Commercial Property Underwriter

Reno, NV | Hybrid (Remote Thursdays & Fridays)

Direct Hire | Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM (flexible)

$75K–$125K DOE | Relocation assistance available

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and underwrite small to mid-market commercial property risks, especially habitational
• Manage top/mid-tier agency relationships, focusing on new business growth and renewals
• Review submissions, assess risk/pricing, and ensure profitability
• Conduct production calls and represent senior technical underwriting authority
• Participate in mentoring, quality control, and training initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• 10+ years of commercial property underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of habitational risks
• Familiarity with ISO/rating plans and commercial lines
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Preferred: CPCU, AU, ARM, CIC, or CRM certification
