Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Ability to navigate stressful situations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, and subtraction).
  • Current food handlers permit upon employment.
Desired Previous Job Experience:
  • Retail experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
  • Practice the 3A's of Friendly: acknowledge, assist, and appreciate our customers.
  • Promote company brands and foster trust among associates.
  • Ensure customers feel welcomed and valued by addressing their questions regarding products.
  • Maintain knowledge of produce products to make insightful recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of produce platters/trays.
  • Keep customers informed about special offers on produce.
  • Prepare, package, label, and manage inventory effectively.
  • Inspect products for quality and take appropriate actions based on findings.
  • Stock and properly label department merchandise.
  • Report any discrepancies in product orders or shipments.
  • Display a positive attitude consistently.
  • Stay updated on promotions and seasonal offerings.
  • Ensure that proper temperatures are maintained in product cases and coolers.
  • Comply with safety procedures to identify and report unsafe conditions.
  • Execute preventive maintenance on equipment and report any issues.
  • Report any accidents or incidents involving customers or employees.
  • Notify management of safety risks or illegal activities.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Act with integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
  • Support and assist individuals of varying ages and needs.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
