Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

Location: Reno, NV

Duration: 5 Months

Pay Rate: $39/hour

Job Description

Coordinates the daily activities of field personnel, including emergency and scheduled activities, providing crew support for construction, system restoration, and scheduled maintenance. Provides accurate reporting of field activities, maintenance progress, and construction progress.

Performs a variety of administrative functions supporting the business unit and/or Telecommunication Operations and Engineering Departments. Ensures efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures. Some assignments may be nonroutine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Tracks annual maintenance and capital program workload and schedule.
  • Coordinates project efforts with Project Managers, Engineers, other departments, and government agencies.
  • Schedules outages for construction with System Operations.
  • Maintains databases for asset management and NERC compliance; assists with WECC and NERC reports; manages project retirement forms and as-built prints; collaborates with procurement for purchase requisitions.
  • Supports department planning and budgeting by identifying tool and equipment needs; manages procurement for equipment repair, calibration, PPE, and supplies; oversees software contracts and upgrades.
  • Reviews contractor work schedules for compliance; reviews and approves invoices; maintains logs and reports of construction activities.
  • Provides management with timely information to support decisions.
  • Supports negotiation of master service agreements.
  • Handles confidential material related to company operations.
  • Conducts analytical projects, including budgeting.
  • Maintains daily operations, verifies documents, and performs reporting tasks.
  • Manages records and document scanning to comply with policies.
  • Serves as a contact point inside and outside the company.
  • Collaborates on special projects with staff and departments.
  • Ensures compliance with policies, codes, and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
