This client has a very fast-paced practice and the position will handle cases in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. They also offer top salary $110-$125k and benefits, along with yearly bonuses. Successful candidate must live in Louisville Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Handle caseload from inception to completion.
• Advise clients concerning their claims or defense of claims, legal rights and obligations.
• Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for clients
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
• Investigate, interview and gather evidence to formulate defense.
• Prepare and draft legal documents including briefs and opinions.
• Negotiate settlements and mediations.
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of injury litigation experience.
• Must have KY or IN license and the ability to obtain the other.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced but team oriented environment.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, pleadings, research, investigations and mediation.
• Must be able to communicate often to clients and other providers.
