Salary: $26.50 per hour
Minimum/Preferred Requirements: Minimum of 21 years of age or older. Must submit to and pass company paid drug screen test and background check. Must undergo all required training and maintain a high level of expertise in all fields. Candidates must either:
Must complete a psychological evaluation, paid for by GSR, and accompanying interview. Must pass with a satisfactory/passing score. Must participate in and pass company-paid pre-employment range and shooting qualifications. Must submit to and pass company-paid drug screen test. Must submit to a company-paid background check. Must obtain and maintain a valid Alcohol Awareness Card. Must obtain Nevada Armed Gaming Control Board Registration. Must pass Physical Agility Test consisting of a 100-yard dash - 30 second time limit, 150 lbs sandbag/dummy drag - 1 minute time limit, and 15 pushups - 1 minute time limit.
Certificates and Licenses: Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Nevada Gaming Work Board, Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM) and Nevada Driver License throughout employment. Must maintain a CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. Must have a current Nevada CCW or LEOSA card.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or successful completion of a GED certificate. Must possess prior law enforcement experience or honorably discharged Veteran with Combat Arms Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or SOF experience. Minimum three (3) years' experience and in-depth comprehensive knowledge in security, investigations, live events, law enforcement, self-awareness training techniques, and risk management is preferred. Advanced computer skills with various VMS, investigative and access control software systems. Must have working knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Physical Demands: Team Member must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with guests, management, team members and others. Regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
