Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced hands-on engineer to work in cross-functional groups. Youll collaborate with senior development and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-leading technologies with an Agile approach. This role reports to the Manager of Enterprise Application Development within the freight brokerage division. If you are passionate about creating innovative software solutions, this role offers opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency and speed business processes and results. Build online applications to reinvent the workplace and enhance the employee experience.

• 1 year of experience developing applications in Angular, C#, SQL, or HTML desired

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end applications using current technologies
• Familiarize with our business model and processes to influence product strategy and direction
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Architects to translate user stories into robust, scalable software applications
• Interact daily with coworkers and leadership
• Develop applications using Angular, TypeScript, C#, SQL, MongoDB and other technologies as needed
• Deploy custom applications to Azure
• Work directly with end users to resolve ambiguities in requirements and troubleshoot issues
• Stay current with technology trends and recommend improvements for team efficiency
• Provide on-call application support as needed, including nights and weekends
• Support application deployments on-call as needed, including nights and weekends

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of requirements gathering methodologies and processes desired
• Excellent communications skills, especially with end users and leadership
• Familiarity working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
• Good judgment skills, including escalation of technical problems
• Ability to absorb and retain complex technical information quickly
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must reside in Reno, NV - this is an on-site position
