This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
Responsibilities include psychosocial rehabilitation, recovery oriented mental health services, clinical case management, and crisis intervention. Work schedule is 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday with eligibility for ad-hoc telework.
Requirements include being a U.S. Citizen, proficient in written and spoken English, and subject to background/security investigation. Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.
Qualifications include basic requirements such as United States Citizenship, education with a master's degree in social work from a fully accredited school of social work, and licensure by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level. Senior social workers must have at least two years of experience post advanced practice clinical licensure in a specialized area of social work practice.
