In this role, you'll support a wide range of HR functions, help foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
· Support employee relations, investigations, and HR processes.
· Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
· Provide training to new managers on HR procedures.
· Assist with job descriptions, job change letters, and background checks.
· Conduct and analyze exit interviews, recommending actionable improvements.
· Support compliance efforts, including mandatory and non-mandatory training.
· Help maintain and communicate the employee handbook, directory, and organizational chart.
· Perform HR tasks related to compensation, benefits, leave, and performance management.
· Maintain organized employee files and HR records.
· Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
· 3+ years of experience in an HR coordination role.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Knowledge of state and federal employment laws (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FSLA).
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to work with tight deadlines and adapt to change.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google business suite.
· Experience with HRIS and talent management systems (preferred).
· SHRM-CP certification (preferred).
· Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Annual Compensation:
$70,000-$75,000 + yearly bonus. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
