DF Press Person
Hourly Rate: $20.25- $22.75
All Applicants must comply with ITAR Requirements. US Citizens or Permanent Residents only
SUMMARY: The DF Press Person position is the next level up from Helper. This person's role is to provide the necessary support and press crew functions to achieve daily press goals. The supporting activities include but are not limited to spraying, driving, loading, inspecting, saw/trimming, and material handling.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
- All functions of a Helper
- Full understanding of job traceability and how to maintain it
- Perform press setups safely and within allotted time standard
- Execute to the posted shopfloor instructions for all applicable operations
- Execute proper spraying techniques for any forging type (Ti, Al, Wheel, Brake, Structural, Flat Top, Near Net, and Net surface parts)
- Load and remove parts on and off the die
- Assist in Measuring/recording for D1 and D2 for Stress Relieve operations
- Setup and Operate Trim Press
- Executes 5S, FOD, and HAZ waste practices and procedures to maintain safe and clean working environment
- Participates in daily, monthly, or quarterly audits including but not limited to 5S, FOD, Haz Waste, Safety, Fire, or ISO
- Demonstrating importance of the Weber Metals Safety Policy to the success of Weber Metals
- Demonstrating importance of the Weber Metals Quality Policy to the success of Weber Metals
- Demonstrating knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Environmental Policy
- Demonstrating knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Business Management System
- Working in a team environment to meet target dates
- Responsible for reporting to work on time, with proper PPE, and being fully engaged for the entire shift
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Meets all requirements of Helper
Must be able to comply with ITAR and EAR residency requirements
Forklift and Manipulator Certified
Overhead Crane Certified
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
HS Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Minimum 90 days experience at Weber as Helper
