Description:

divh2Help Desk Technician/h2pNuAxis Innovations is seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Technician to support the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) in Reno, NV. This on-site role is part of a mission-critical IT support team delivering responsive technical assistance to a mobile and hybrid federal workforce. Youll provide Tier 1 support, assist with hardware and software issues, manage mobile devices, and ensure end-user systems remain secure, updated, and operational. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking to support a high-impact federal mission while gaining experience in enterprise-level IT operations./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliProvide Tier 1 IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets./liliRespond to user requests via phone, email, and in-person support channels./liliSupport and troubleshoot Apple iPads, iPhones, and Android mobile devices./liliInstall, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop hardware and software./liliTrack and manage IT service tickets and escalate complex issues as needed./liliParticipate in equipment deployments and system upgrades./liliCommunicate the status of pending requests, outages, and maintenance activities to end users./liliMaintain documentation and knowledge base articles as needed./liliCollaborate with server and network teams to resolve cross-functional issues./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliAssociates degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience./lili2+ years of hands-on experience in a help desk or desktop support environment./liliStrong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365./liliExposure to supporting mobile devices in an enterprise environment./liliStrong communication and customer service skills./liliAbility to work independently in a fast-paced federal workplace./liliMust be eligible to work in the United States and pass a federal background check./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliExperience working with federal agencies or in a government contracting environment./liliFamiliarity with ServiceNow, Remedy, or other ITSM/ticketing platforms./liliCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation./li/ulpNuAxis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
