FUNCTION:

Responsible for special cleaning duties within the housekeeping department, requiring heavy lifting, carrying, and the use of mechanical equipment associated with heavy cleaning duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for performing heavy physical duties within an assigned section, ensuring all functional duties associated with this job are performed according to established departmental procedures, policies, and goals.
2. Must have complete working knowledge and the ability to use all equipment used by heavy duty cleaners including, carpet shampooing machines, vacuums, chemical cleaning solutions etc.
3. May be required to use ladders for the cleaning of ceiling fans, and light fixtures.
4. Responsible for moving and rearranging furniture wherever needed and delivering supplies to various floors as requested.
5. Must have knowledge of all chemicals used by heavy duty cleaning cleaners and be aware of the Nugget's hazard communication policy.
6. Always display outstanding guest service, smiling, making eye contact, and assisting guests.
7. Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, and immediately notify the supervisor of unsafe conditions or if an accident does occur.
8. Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
9. Using the Nugget's system of recognition, recognize team members who are going "above and beyond" as appropriate
10. Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
11. Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
12. Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
13. Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
14. Regular predictable attendance is required.
15. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Housekeeping Supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 18 years of age.

EDUCATION LEVEL:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

LANGUAGE:

Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 6 months previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

PHSYICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time

Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.

Fine finger manipulation.

Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.

Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
