The Host & Cashier is responsible for creating a smooth and positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing seating and processing payments efficiently.
Duties:
Sincerely greets and thanks each guest.
Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.
Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names and quote wait times accurately.
Seats guests in the proper order of arrival.
Accurate use of the dine-time seating system.
Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant.
Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.
Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
Completes all side work requirements.
Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests and employees.
Qualifications:
One or more years' previous host/cashier experience is preferred.
Must be available to work any day of the week and any shift.
Must be able to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
