This position is responsible for coordination of the on-boarding of new employees, assessment of employee competencies, training of technical skill set, and ensuring employees adhere to Patient Experience expectations as directed from Leadership. In addition, this position will provide evidence-based input to Lab Support Services Leadership in the ongoing revision and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, protocol development and implementation as well as provide orientation to new personnel. This position serves as a resource for physicians, nurses, and other hospital employees. This position provides input regarding new supplies for purchase, and assists Leadership staff in reviewing incidents and occurrence reports to maintain the department s goals.
