Machine Operator II - 1st Shift
Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II - 1st Shift at our Reno, NV facility. The core hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

What You'll Do:
In this function, you will:
- Proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
- Troubleshoot various machinery problems
- Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
- QC and document all parts run on machines
- Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
- Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Six (6) + months of experience with forming or bending machines
- Six (6) + months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
- Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
Position Success Criteria:
- Ability to operate machinery and presses safely
- Ability to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings
- Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material
- Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
- Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision
Additional Information
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
- Ability to lift and bend on a continuous basis
- Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
- Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
