Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the complete handling of customer orders and answers technical questions.Primary Duties* Fulfill promises made to customers 100% of the time or notify them of changes* Pro-actively track customer orders to ensure on-time shipping* Handle arrangements for shipment of product* Answer phones providing feedback to customers as requested* Tech line phone support including quality control follow up* Work with material and production groups as needed to alert customers of potential backorders* Ability to learn products, multiple systems and customer portals* Maintain accurate work Instructions as customer requirements or processes change* Other duties as assignedQualifications* Have general automotive parts experience* Ability to handle complaints regarding unpleasant situations or conflicts* Customer Service experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment desired* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Docs* ERP/MRP experience in a manufacturing environment desired* Physical Requirement: Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 20 pounds on a regular basis* Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items.
