Sterile Instrument Technician Lead

Are you a dedicated Sterile Processing professional with leadership experience and a passion for quality patient care? Renown Health is seeking a Sterile Instrument Technician Lead to play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable preparation of surgical instruments and supplies that support 24/7 surgical services.

About the Role

As the Sterile Instrument Technician Lead, you will:

✅ Oversee daily operations of sterile instrument preparation, trays, packs, and surgical supplies.

✅ Lead, mentor, and train Sterile Instrument Technicians to uphold high standards of quality and customer service.

✅ Coordinate with Sterile Processing teams, OR Liaisons, and educators to support best practices.

✅ Perform quality assurance monitoring, documentation, and workflow prioritization.

✅ Support performance evaluations and help resolve on-floor challenges.

✅ Maintain proper cleaning, sterilization, and tracking of reusable surgical items.

What You'll Bring

To excel in this position, we're looking for:

🎓 Education & Language: High school diploma or equivalent; strong command of English.

📌 Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.

📜 Certification: CRCST from IAHCSMM or equivalent required.

💻 Skills:

• Expertise in sterilization techniques, decontamination, and instrument handling.
• Ability to communicate clearly and lead with confidence.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and conflict management skills.
• Comfortable with flexible duties and occasional overtime.
