We are looking for a Supervisor, Receiving to join our team in Reno, NV (Whse). The duties and responsibilities include supervising the receiving department to ensure optimum service levels are maintained, monitoring progress via RE sheet, errors, disciplinary action, attendance, etc. The role also involves monitoring error rates, processes error exceptions and taken corrective action, monitoring items for accuracy, correct quantity, correct item, etc., prior to leaving department. The Supervisor, Receiving will also monitor facility for security purposes, a safe work environment, and cleanliness and monitors truck log. They will identify problems and create solutions regarding item and associate issues, research and resolve calls received from various departments, operate basic and advanced warehouse vehicles, ensure all codes are scannable and in the MSC system to prevent extra coding efforts, perform all duties inherent in the role of MSC Supervisor as defined in the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates, develop and monitor schedules for all unit specific deliveries, evaluate spend-a-day candidates on departmental procedures and monitor their progress, delegate to/through work team coach to ensure smooth processes flow, promote safe work practices, prepare at-docks by documenting items that enter the distribution center, release items from the PQC hold by examining those items that require a quality assurance inspection, troubleshoot and resolve issues with vendors who supply incorrect bar codes, wrong items, etc. load, unload moves product by hand and/or skid, visually inspect boxes for damage or improper packaging, foster the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission, order supplies, as necessary for the department, assist other departments when required, meet customer service requirements, participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Education and experience: Vocational or technical school diploma or the equivalent required. Two years of job-related experience.
Skills: Must obtain MSC license to drive warehouse vehicles within specified time requirements. Knowledge of receiving process required. Knowledge of tools required. Knowledge of AS/400 system required. Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Physical requirements: Bending to lift items from the floor and racks required. Lifting items between 25 and 50 pounds required. Ability to operate at heights up to 50 feet required. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time required.
Compensation starting at $50,260.00 --$78,980.00 depending on candidate location and experience. The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
