The Greer Group is looking for a dependable Warehouse Forklift Operator / Fulfillment & Delivery Support team member. This role combines warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and local deliveries to the Asheville area. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys a mix of warehouse and driving responsibilities.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8: 00 am - 5: 00 pmPay: $19 - $22 per hour - depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts (sit-down or stand-up) to move and organize materials within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Assist with picking, packing, and staging orders for delivery
• Perform local deliveries to customer locations using company vehicle in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
• Keep warehouse organized and clean to ensure efficient operations
• Conduct routine equipment and vehicle checks
• Follow all safety and transportation regulations
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience operating forklifts and working in a warehouse setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical tasks
• Comfortable driving and making local deliveries
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Stage outgoing shipments, load trucks accurately and document in inventory management system
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with local delivery driving
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with order fulfillment processes

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking for long periods
• Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
• Operating heavy equipment and driving company vehicles
