Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Sparks. This is a full?time, mid?level position suited for professionals with 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The Inventory Control Clerk will support efficient inventory management processes within our dynamic healthcare operations.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory management with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a similar role. (Mandatory skill)
  • Extensive knowledge and application of lean inventory practices for optimizing supply levels and reducing waste. (Mandatory skill)
  • Exceptional attention to detail to accurately track, record, and audit inventory movements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Hands?on experience with ERP systems for managing and monitoring inventory data and transactions efficiently.
  • Strong logistics coordination skills to support inbound and outbound processes and facilitate timely material movement.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles to ensure seamless inventory flow across departments.
  • Effective communication abilities for clear reporting and collaboration with multiple teams across the organization.
  • Problem?solving aptitude to identify inventory issues, analyze causes, and implement corrective measures quickly and effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using manual and automated systems to guarantee data integrity.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts, reconciling variances and documenting all findings as per procedures.
  • Implement and uphold lean inventory practices to ensure optimized stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and operations teams to ensure timely replenishment and distribution of goods.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies while recommending preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of inventory control policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Generate and present regular inventory reports, providing actionable insights to management for informed decision?making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards related to inventory management.
