Utilizing state of the art strategies, processes and human capital, Controlled ensures the highest degree of service and integrity for the sensitive environment we support; impacting those industries that impact the world./ppPOSITION PURPOSE: The Janitor role in the company is responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance cleaning of interior buildings/facilities/lobbys office areas, restrooms and all areas determined by contract or assigned by supervisor./ppSCHEDULE SHIFT: Tuesday-Saturday, 6:00pm-2:30am/ppESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliPick up trash and replace with trash liners/liliVacuum, mop, strip and wax, and sweep all floor areas/liliDust, wall spot, clean all glass, polish, sanitize all areas./liliWash, clean, wipe down, sponge, rinse, scour and disinfect any assigned work area/liliNote and report all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction./liliAdhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures/liliReport all damage to customer property, suspicious activities and unsafe conditions within their work area to the supervisor./liliAll other duties as defined by supervisor./li/ulpQualifications:/ppEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance./ppPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities: Stand, Walk, Lift/Climb, Talk/Hear, Use hands to finger, handle or feel. Reach with hands or arms.
