Description:

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving (Packer)-1st Shift at our Reno, NV facility! The core hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

In this function, you will:
  • Picking and pull orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Packing orders following company standards for quality and safert.
  • Verify correct parts, quantities, and finishes before shipment.
  • Monitor and check stock levels regularly.
  • Replenishing inventory as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Operate RF scanners accurately and efficiently.
  • Cut wood as required for order fufillment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) + year or more of previous shipping/packing experience.
Position Success Criteria:
  • Must be well organized and accountable.
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to utilize a staple gun, bander, nail gun, carton closer as needed
  • Ability to do fine manipulation of hands with repetitve motion.
  • Must be able to work overtime with short notice
  • Ability to use SAP system to performe daily warehouse and fufillment tasks.
Physical Demands:
  • Ablility to stand on feet continuously during working shift
  • Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment including but not limited to steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, etc. as may be required by company policy and procedures
  • Exposure to cold and heat according to weather conditions when shipping doors are open
