divh2Equipment Operator/h2pThe Equipment Operator plays an essential role in our warehouse operations and is responsible for operating various types of equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to handle, transport, and store goods and materials in our warehouse. The Equipment Operator will accurately and safely load and unload trucks, organize and stack materials in designated storage areas, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and proficiency in equipment operation will contribute to the overall success of our logistics processes, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders and optimal inventory management./ppDuties and Responsibilities:/pulliOperate and maneuver equipment such as forklifts, reach truck, order picker, or other machinery as required for specific projects or tasks./liliPerform equipment pre-operation checks to ensure proper functionality and identify any potential issues or maintenance needs./liliFollow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, coworkers, and other personnel on the site./liliUse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials, supplies, or products as required./liliFollow instructions to perform tasks accurately and efficiently./liliMonitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel./liliAdhere to project schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks./liliVerify part numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure accurate order fulfillment./liliUse handheld scanners or other tools to track and update inventory levels./liliSign for shipments upon receiving, inspect incoming shipments, check for damaged or missing items, and record discrepancies./liliOrganize and arrange products in the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and easy accessibility./liliMaintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse./liliAdhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a safe work environment./liliReport any inventory shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor or manager./liliAssist in other warehouse duties as assigned, such as restocking shelves, labeling products, or assisting in inventory audits./liliMaintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and inspections./liliCollaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel involved in the project./liliEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards./li/ulpRequired Skills and Abilities:/pulliIn-depth knowledge of equipment operation techniques, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures./liliAbility to read and interpret project plans or instructions./liliStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately./liliPhysical stamina and strength to operate equipment for extended periods and lift heavy materials or objects./liliBasic computer skills to input and retrieve data from inventory systems./liliAbility to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision./liliKnowledge of warehouse safety practices./liliExcellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively./liliStrong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team./liliFlexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as required./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets./li/ulpEducation and Experience:/pulliHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent./liliPrevious experience as an equipment operator or in a similar warehouse role is preferred./liliValid equipment operator certification or license as required for the specific equipment being operated./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliLifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, packages, and materials, often weighing up to 50 pounds. This may involve repetitive lifting and carrying throughout the workday./liliStanding and Walking: The role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods as to navigate the warehouse floor, retrieves items, and moves between different areas of the facility./liliBending, Stooping, and Reaching: Will frequently need to bend, stoop, and reach to access products, shelves, and storage areas. This requires flexibility and agility to perform tasks effectively./liliPushing and Pulling: Some warehouse tasks may involve pushing or pulling heavy carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment./liliClimbing: Depending on the warehouse layout, it may be required to climb ladders, stairs, or platforms to access inventory or perform specific tasks.
