POSITION SUMMARY

Entry-level Tire Technicians needed for busy family owned shop with a friendly, professional work environment. This position is perfect for highly motivated individuals looking to begin a great career in automotive service and repair. We will train the right candidates. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and performing maintenance of tires and wheels, oil changes, and other basic vehicle maintenance in an accurate and timely manner. You are honest, have a solid work ethic and high motivation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mounting and dismounting automotive tires
• Installing new wheels
• Attaching and re-balancing wheels
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Performing oil changes or any type of flushes and maintenance
• Calibrating TPMS
• Inventory stocking
• Participating in training & follows safety procedures
• Testing and installing batteries
• Test-driving vehicles after maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18+ years old
• Must be flexible in scheduling and able to work overtime as needed during hours shop is open. Shop hours Monday-Friday are 7:30am-5:30pm; and Saturday are 8am-4pm.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
• Ability to move and lift up to 60 pounds

Hiring bonus payable to employees in good standing after 90 days of employment.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
