Provide support and administrative assistance to the engineering department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Type memos and letters, purchase requisitions, department forms and documents.
Compile and create spreadsheets and work orders.
Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
Acts as runner, driving locally to merchants and the Nugget warehouse, picking up various parts and supplies.
Facilitate meetings and effectively communicate with Contractors, Supervisors, and Inspectors.
Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets; check lists to record construction progress daily.
Complete purchase orders, to order supplies and product for the department as directed.
Display a professional and courteous demeanor, answering phones, emails, and dealing directly with other departments, team members, guests, and vendors.
Provide professional administrative support to the Director of Facilities.
Follow up with departments on building audits and projects.
Complete weekly and monthly reports on a variety of projects.
Respond to queries and run additional reports as needed.
Interact daily with team members and management.
Assist as needed with daily correspondences.
Communicate and follow-through with outside agencies, vendors, and guests as required.
Maintain and update department documentation, processes, and procedures as appropriate.
Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourage others to do the same.
Regular predictable attendance is required.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Director of Facilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 21 years of age.
EDUCATION LEVEL:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE:
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years in a previous administrative position
Advanced skills in working in Excel, Word, and Outlook
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift, and move product up to 20 lbs.
Fine finger manipulation.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Valid Nevada Driver's License and clean 3 year DMV record required.
