Join our team as a Part-Time Prepared Foods Receiver and help us maintain a positive company image by providing exceptional customer service. You will support our leadership team by adhering to regional standards and ensuring efficient delivery processing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process all product deliveries with attention to detail and in accordance with receiving procedures.
2. Maintain receiving supplies and ensure the backstock area and cooler are organized.
3. Secure the receiving area during your shift to ensure safety.
4. Break down and organize incoming loads effectively.
5. Stock or store all refrigerated items appropriately.
6. Distribute received merchandise and notify the team about incoming products.
7. Establish and maintain a merchandise return/transfer area.
8. Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and compliant with health and sanitation procedures.
9. Utilize communication tools, including the department logbook, to document transfers and wastage.
10. Follow safe work practices and operate all equipment securely.
11. Report life safety hazards or policy violations to the Team Leader immediately.
12. Communicate effectively with team members regarding department operations.
13. Participate in all scheduled department meetings and training sessions.
14. Answer department calls with professionalism when possible.
15. Develop a working knowledge of department vendors.
16. Verify deliveries and address any discrepancies as per procedure.
17. Assist in stocking products as needed.
18. Accurately record your time for each shift.
19. Adhere to the dress code, including non-slip shoes and cut-resistant gloves when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Knowledge of proper lifting techniques; ability to lift loads not exceeding 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and aptitude for meeting deadlines.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Desired Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior working knowledge of IRMA is preferred.
