Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Possess a current and valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral.
• Ability to carry and effectively use a firearm, with mandatory maintenance of proficiency.
• Must obtain and retain a Top Secret Clearance throughout your career.
• Visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20 in each eye.
• Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in specific frequency ranges.
• Submit to drug testing prior to appointment and random tests thereafter.
• Complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, followed by 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
• Sign a mobility agreement for potential assignments anywhere in the U.S. and abroad.
• Men born after December 31, 1959, must certify registration with the Selective Service System or claim exemption.
