Warehouse Associate 1

Local company is looking for warehouse associates.

Job summary:

This position will be responsible for performing tasks related to warehouse inventory. This includes, but is not limited to, processing incoming inventory, shelving processed inventory, shipping orders from inventory, and performing routine inventory maintenance functions.

Job functions:

• Picking/Binning/Packing
• Shelving
• General

Essential functions:

• Demonstrated strong attention to detail
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to use a computer, tablet, scan gun, and various inventory management programs.
• The ability to focus on a single task for extended periods of time
• The ability to use a pallet jack, baler, box cutter, conveyors, and other tools in a safe manner
• The ability to use a computer to check email and utilize the internet
• The ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours at a time
• The ability to safely climb step stools and ladders
• The ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift, including reaching, stooping and bending
• The positive attitude of a team player

Qualifications, training, and experience:

High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. One-year continuous work history preferred.
