The Merchandising Expert will ensure that the showroom area is well-stocked, organized, and maintained to create an inviting shopping experience. This role involves preparing merchandise for sales, engaging with customers on the sales floor, and presenting the retail space in a professional manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome customers on the sales floor, assist in locating products, and connect them with a parts specialist for complex needs.
• Receive, price, and organize stock efficiently on the shelves.
• Maintain an attractive and fully stocked showroom by fronting merchandise and adhering to O'Reilly Image Maker standards daily.
• Update displays in accordance with company guidelines, modify planograms, adjust pricing labels, and ensure promotional signs are correctly displayed.
• Remove outdated sales materials promptly and revert to standard pricing after promotional events.
• Support inventory management processes, including stock adjustments, cycle counts, and returns of overstock.
• Collaborate with the manager to complete weekly inventory and merchandising assignments.
• Occasionally act as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle when needed, provided that the driving record meets company standards.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to read, write, and accurately match numbers and letters.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Previous experience in stocking or merchandising.
• Proficiency in driving a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
